Bossa Nova Delhi is an innovative fusion between Brasilian and Indian music, rescuing the historical presence of the Orient in Brasil.

Mais Filhos de Gandhi (More Sons of Gandhi), the first track, unites the Afoxé from the Afro-baiano mystic group “Sons of Gandhi”, with the energetic "Ragupat Ragava", Gandhi's favorite song.

The inspiring "Morena Bengali de Cravo e Canela" (Dark-skinned Bengali Girl of Clove and Cinnamon) reminds us that the "spice" of the Brasilian girl came from India : the Bossa Nova beat is recreated on the Tabla. "Marinheiro sem par" (Sailor with no partner) is inspired in the Portuguese sailors who founded cities like Vasco da Gama and Goa. : the Classic Indian chant Tarana joins this Samba-choro.The mystical "Viagem de Vida e Morte", (Voyage of Life and Death) has Tibetan, Hindu and Christian holy images, as the Dalay Lama and the Biblical Larazus, on the new and involving rhythm Ciranda-Dadra.

"Vento Louco" (Crazy Wind) is a Forró inspired in the trance and ecstasy proposed by the mystical oriental folklore, showing typical muslin Qawali vocals."Lamento de Chuva" (Lament of the Rains) is a Xote-Reggae, written in the traditional Rain Raga : in India as in Brazil, peasants have to migrate to escape the seasonal dry periods.

Exalting the cattle ranches - richness that also came from Asia - "Vaca Sagrada" (Holy Cow) is a Cordel in 12 syllabus echoing the 12 tempos of the Indian Ektal. It takes us through the different myths of the oxen: from the Greek Minotaur to the gods of Khajurao, from the Black-faced Ox of a popular lullaby Boi-Bumbá. Mantras from the Bhagavad Gita are present in "Bebes de Calcutá" (Babies of Calcutta), a peculiar "Toada Mantrica", a parallel between Our Lady and Mother Theresa of Calcutta.
